St. Luke UMC has a long history that can be traced back to the beginning of Methodism in Little Rock in the 18th century. When the Broadmoor community was first built in the 1950s, the then Scott Street Methodist Church moved to Broadmoor and the church was renamed St. Luke Methodist Church.
St. Luke UMC continues to be very much a community church with a caring and friendly atmosphere. With approximately 200 members, it is large enough to offer programs for all age-groups, while remaining small enough to enable most members to know and look out for each other. Members range from a few months to 102 years old and most ages in between.
We hope that as you tour this site you will find helpful information about our church. Then come and visit us! We are confident you will discover the love of God at work in and through us.
